MLB: Colorado 5, Cincinnati 1

CINCINNATI, July 27 (UPI) -- Winner Jorge De La Rosa hit a two-run single and surrendered a run and two hits in 6 2/3 innings Saturday when the Colorado Rockies beat Cincinnati 5-1.

The earned run scored on Ken Griffey Jr.'s 607th career homer in the bottom of the fourth, Griffey's 14th four-bagger this season.

Both Troy Tulowitzki and Yorvit Torrealba had two hits and one RBI, while Brad Hawpe, Garrett Atkins and Ian Stewart all added two hits in Rockies' eighth win in their last nine games.

De La Rosa (5-5) walked five batters and fanned eight.

Adam Dunn had the other hit for the Reds, losers in four of their last six games.

Losing pitcher Homer Bailey (0-4) was touched for five runs -- four earned -- and 15 hits in just 4 2/3 innings.

Cincinnati has lost the six games that the seventh overall pick in the 2004 amateur draft has hurled this season.
